I'm looking forward to our discussion tomorrow and wish to emphasize that we want to examine Berry's notions from multiple perspectives, with the collective objective of shaping our own attitudes about land, resources, economies, and people. How do Berry's ideas fit into the attitudes of those we encounter in The Golden Spruce? Where is culture in this conversation? How about community?
